Business System Analyst

Lexicon is seeking a Systems Business Analyst who will play a critical role in optimizing our SaaS (Software as a Service) applications, driving efficiency in system processes, and ensuring seamless integration across business functions. The Systems Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and implement solutions that enhance system performance and drive business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or a similar role, with a focus on SaaS applications.
• Previous experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) preferred.
• Previous experience with Salesforce preferred.
• Previous experience with Legal Case Management Software preferred.
• Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, cloud platforms, and integrations.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
• Experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data exchange between SaaS applications and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather detailed business and technical requirements, and document functional specifications.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of SaaS software solutions to ensure they meet business objectives and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve business processes by leveraging SaaS solutions, automating workflows, and enhancing system functionality.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate SaaS applications with other enterprise systems, ensuring smooth data flow and connectivity across platforms.
• Develop and executes test plans to validate that new features or modifications meet business requirements and perform system testing for quality assurance.
• Serve as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication, timely issue resolution, and alignment on project goals.
• Analyze data from SaaS systems to identify trends, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
• Develop user documentation, conduct training sessions for end-users, and provide ongoing support for SaaS applications.
• Partner with internal PMO to manage small to medium-sized projects related to system improvements or SaaS implementations, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
