Senior Director, Marketing
The Senior Director, Marketing oversees the organizational marketing strategy for Lexicon and its legacy clients Cordell & Cordell, and Tucker Allen. This role will be primarily involved with developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the organization’s market presence, while using current trends, economic indicators, and innovative practices. This leadership position sits on our Executive Leadership Team and works collaboratively across departments to ensure consistent branding, cohesive identity initiatives, sales messages, and comprehensive marketing strategies that increase market share and response.
Responsibilities Develops a deep understanding of the current organization and its clients – embodying the voice of the brand, while driving strategy and enthusiasm from others. Designs and implements a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives awareness of all organizations, while working to increase market share and market response to any of our brands. Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues, recommending options, monitoring courses of action, and implementing solutions. Administers the organizations digital marketing program, including social media, internal website and email campaigns to ensure brand consistency. Maximizes website performance, tracks keyword rankings, and implements SEO strategies in partnership with the internal team and key stakeholders. Provides short- and long-term market forecasts by directing market research, analysis, and interpretation/visualization of data. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, monitoring routine costs, and analyzing variances. Oversees the design and production of advertisements that convey and enhance the image, message, and brand of our organizations. Serves as the Creative Director on any advertisement campaigns to ensure consistent messaging and identity. Creates copy, source copy, and/or edit copy from other areas of the organization for marketing pieces, articles, and communications. Manages the customer journey, while partnering with Client Services to monitor and implement innovative practices that increase lead volume and conversions. Ensures timely delivery of all commitments and ongoing projects. Sets and achieves strategic goals related to all facets of the marketing organization - from social media metrics, to advertising, and marketing campaign initiatives. Build and manage a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals to supply marketing services, as needed.
Qualifications Ideally, the Senior Director, Marketing will possess the following key skills: 8+ years of hands-on experience with online/digital marketing techniques, including experience with traditional advertising and offline marketing strategies. 10+ consecutive years of experience in marketing roles with expanding responsibilities and progression. Impeccable professional reputation with high degree of energy, integrity, and a positive perspective. Demonstrates accountability, follows-up on all commitments, takes ownership of work, and possesses a strong ability to stay focused on individual, department, and organizational results. Builds positive internal and external customer relationships and remains committed to customer satisfaction. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, project management and collaboration Demonstrated awareness of the latest technology and trends (Google +, social tools, etc.) Experience managing multiple small to mid-sized teams preferred. Approaches all work through metrics and values, prioritizing a results-oriented approach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to a broad variety of stakeholders
